Lot 20.  Exhibit Supply Co. 1929-30 set of 32 (Set 8). The first of the four-in-one sets and the most commonly found with 2 cards issued for each of the 16 major league teams. All issued with coupons on a post card back. Featured players include Ruth, Gehrig, Hornsby, Vance, Terry, Ott, Alexander, Cuyler, the Waner bros., Gehringer, Foxx, Cochrane, Grove, Goslin, Ruffing, etc. Beautiful set with 13 cards near mint, the balance are ex-mt including the Koenig-Ruth-Durocher-Gehrig.

Lot 21.  Exhibit Supply Co. 1931-2 set of 32 (Set 9). Unquestionably the most difficult of the four-in-one exhibit sets. The fact that it consists of 32 cards only doubles the aggravation. Easily recognizable as the only baseball Exhibit set with the Coupon prizes back (though cards can be found blank backed). Featured players include Maranville, Cuyler, Hartnett, Wilson, Hornsby, Vance, Heilmann, Durocher, Ott, Terry, Traynor, the Waner bros., Klein, Frisch, Bottomley, Averill, Appling, Lyons, Dickey, Lazzeri, Ruth, Gehrig, Foxx, Cochrane, Grove, Manush and Cronin. The offered set is most likely the best condition set in existence. There are 27 ex-mt cards including the Ruth-Gehrig, 3 excellent cards 2 cards are vg-ex.
Minimum Bid $2,000.


Lot 22.  Exhibit Supply Co. 1933 nr set of 15 missing Philadelphia NL (Set 10). The second most difficult of the four-in-one sets. Players included are Maranville, Lopez, Vance, O'Doul, Hafey, Lindstrom, Paul & Lloyd Waner, Frisch, Lyons, Averill, Gehringer, Ruth, Pennock, Lazzeri, Dickey, Farrell, Goslin and Manush. The Ruth, Pennock, Lazzeri and Dickey is nr mt. The Cincinnati card has 1 3/4" knife cut down the center as if someone was going to cut the card in four quarters. The balance are ex+-mt or near mint. Beautiful and very difficult set.

Lot 23.  Exhibit Supply Co. 1934 set of 16 (Set 11). Beautiful Condition set. Players include Lopez, Klein, Lombardi, Bottomley, Hafey, Terry, Hubbell, Ott, Traynor, Paul & Lloyd Waner, Frisch, Grove, Ferrell, Appling, Simmons, Averill, Cochrane, Goslin, Gehringer, Ruth, Gomez, Gehrig, Dickey, Foxx, Manush and Cronin. The Ruth-Gehrig card is ex+-mt, 7 cards are near mint, and 8 are ex-mt.

Lot 24.  Exhibit Supply Co. 1935 set of 16 (Set 12). A popular set because Babe Ruth is shown as a member of the Boston Braves. Other players include Lopez, Klein, Hartnett, Terry, Hubbell, Ott, Grove, Cronin, Ferrell, Foxx, Lazzeri, Gomez, Gehrig, Dickey, P.Waner, Traynor, Vaughn, Manush, Lombardi, Bottomley, Hafey, Medwick, Frisch, the Dean Bros., Simmons, Lyons, Averill, Cochrane, Goslin and Gehringer. 11 cards are ex-mt or better including the Ruth card, 4 are near mint including the Yankees with Gehrig and one card (Phillies) is excellent.

Lot 25.  Exhibit Supply Co. 1936 set of 16 (Set 13). The first four-in-one set without Ruth. Players include Lindstrom, Herman, Hartnett, Terry, Hubbell, Ott, Grove, Cronin, Ferrell, Foxx, Appling, Lyons, Lazzeri, Gomez, Gehrig, Ruffing, P.Waner, Traynor, Vaughn, Manush, Lombardi, Medwick, Frisch, the Dean Bros., Simmons, Lyons, Averill, Cochrane, Goslin and Gehringer. A gorgeous set with almost all cards near mint (or better) or very close to it.

Lot 26.  Exhibit Supply Co. 1937 set of 16 (Set 14). The 1937 version of four-in-ones marks the first appearance of Joe DiMaggio and Bob Feller. The set also includes Lopez, Herman, Hartnett, Lombardi, Hubbell, Ott, P. Waner, Vaughn, Medwick, Dizzy Dean, Grove, Foxx, Cronin, Ferrell, Appling,, Averill, Cochrane, Goslin, Gehringer, Lazzeri, Gomez and Gehrig. Beautiful condition set with only three cards less than excellent-mt (Detroit, Washington and Ch NL are excellent). The Yankee card is near mint and the balance are ex+-mt or near mint.

Lot 27.  Exhibit Supply Co. 1938 set of 16 (Set 15). The final four-in-one as the Exhibit Supply Co would turn to the Salutation style of card. The 1938 set, which is completely sepia, ranks as the third most difficult four-in-one set behind the 1931-2 and 1933. Offered here is a spectacular set grading near mint.
