Lot 66.  Tommy Bond 2 1/2" x 2 1/4" Cut autograph from a 3 x 5 card. Inscribed "Sincerely Thomas H. Bond". Bond is one of the great unknown pitchers winning 193 games in an 11 year career including three consecutive 40 game win season with Boston’s great teams in 1877-79. Should be in the Hall of Fame and a highly desirable autograph. He died in 1941. GAI/Mike Gutierrez COA.

Lot 67.  Very rare Fred Goldsmith signed photo. The approximate 5" x 7" photo shows an elderly Goldsmith looking at a picture of his former Chicago team with Cap Anson on top. He was a 20 game winner for Chicago from 1880 through 1883, winning a total of 98 games. He is considered by many as the inventor of the curveball. He died in 1839 and signatures are very rare. The signature is signed beautifully in ink. GAI/Mike Gutierrez COA.

Lot 68.  Jack Manning cut autograph 1 1/4" x 5" cut from 3 x 5 card. Inscribed "Jack Manning Boston 1885". Manning, who died in 1929 is an extremely difficult signature. A fourteen year career started in the National Association in 1873 and ended with Baltimore of the American Association in 1886. Signature is a "10". GAI/Mike Gutierrez COA.

Lot 69.  Extremely rare Dennis Sullivan cut. A 3 1/4" x 1" cut apparently from his will. A note on the 3" x 5" card indicates the will was dated Sept. 1, 1925 and filed 1/2/26. Sullivan, whose major league career consisted of 5 games with Providence in 1879 and 1 with Boston in 1880, died in 1925. A "10" in back fountain pen. GAI/Mike Gutierrez COA.

Lot 70.  1877 James "Chief" Roseman letter. One of the earliest baseball ALS’ known. Contents are completely baseball and discuss Roseman’s availability to play with Buffalo. Roseman did not make the majors until 1882 when he played for Troy and acquired some notoriety with the New York Mets including the 1886 team that was the subject of the "Spotted Tie" subset of Old Judge. Lot 71.  Beautiful 3" x 5" card of Jack Glasscock. Another "should be" hall of Famer. A 17 year career and considered one of the best, if not the best, 19th Century short stops. A .290 lifetime hitter. Inscribed " Compliments of Jack W. Glasscock 1879-1896 National league". Glasscock died in 1959. GAI/Mike Gutierrez COA.

Lot 72.  Fascinating 1926 George Stovall letter to Tris Speaker with amazing content. Written to Speaker ("Dear Spoke") in regard to the now famous case in which Ty Cobb and Speaker were being investigated by Judge Landis for throwing games ("…. The American League got along fine for many years before Landis stepped in and he alone has done more to disrupt the Old National Game than any person in the world.". Stovall was the first player to jump to the Federal League and recruited many others ("…I went through the mill once during the days of the Feds and signed most all players myself"). Lot 73.  Turkey Stearns autograph on a 2 1/4" x 3 1/2" card. One of the Negro League's greatest sluggers, Norman "Turkey" Stearns. Stearns played for the Detroit Stars and Chicago American Giants during his 18-season career, all the while engendering immense respect from his peers. He was one of the league's best defensive outfielders. Mike Gutierrez/Global COA.

Lot 74.  Group of 6 documents with 9 interesting autographs. Four player assignment copies from 1942 (Eddie Collins, Roy Hamey), 1950 (Art Ehler, Roy Mack), 1954 (Joe Cronin, ?) and 1957 (Horace Stoneham, Buddy. Ryan); Two letters one from George Weiss to Joe Devine on Newark Club stationary with great baseball content and Yankee letterhead with a sort note from Ed Barrow to Joe Devine. Lot 75.  1970 Cincinnati Reds autographed ball. N.L. West Champs. Beautiful ball with 34 signatures obtained by our consignor outside the Reds hotel on a visit to San Francisco. Signers include George Anderson (1st year), Bernie Carbo (on sweetspot), Pete Rose, Tony Perez, Johnny Bench, Dave Concepcion (Rookie), Ted Kluszewski, Ty Cline, Joe Nuxhall, Bob Tolan, Gary Nolan, Clay Carroll, Woody Woodward, Jim McGlothlin, Jim Maloney, Tommy Helms, Ray Washburn, Hal Macrae, Tony Cloninger, etc. GAI/Mike Gutierrez COA.
