Lot 297.  1933 Ryder Cup Program at Southport & Ainsdale Golf Club in England. 1933 was the fourth Ryder Cup series. England won 6 1/2- 5 1/2 in a match that came down to the last putt. Britain would not win again for 24 years. The American team featured Walter Hagan, Gene Sarazen, Denny Shute and Craig Wood. The elaborate 64 page program included photos and bios of team members from both sides as well as team photos and recaps of the previous 3 Ryder Cup. Schematics of all the holes are also shown. The staples are missing from the program, thus the pages are loose, but this is easily remedied. A rare and historic program is in very good-excellent condition.

Lot 298.  1946 PGA Championship program at Portland Golf Club. Ben Hogan won his first major, defeating Ed Oliver in match play, 6 and 4. The 78 page program features photos and descriptions of each hole and contains many article. Some wrinkles and scratches on the front cover otherwise the program is in excellent condition.
