Type Cards

  7 Lots

Lot 81.  Very rare and mysterious “LECTIONS” card of Emil Meusel. The Lections set first became known at the Parsippany National in 1984. The first known group came from the Albany, New York area and a second group came from the same family years later. It is still not known what “Lections” refers to. The card is creased, as are most, and is fair to good.
Minimum Bid $400.

Lot 82.  R300 George Miller Rabbit Maranville, Boston N.L. As nice a George Miller as you’re likely to find. Ex-mt.
Minimum Bid $400.

Lot 83.  S81 Silk #87-Marty O’Toole. Beautiful near perfect silk. Near mint.
Minimum Bid $800.

Lot 84.  T206 White Border Fred Merkle with rare brown Lenox back. Card has pinhole at top and some creasing. The brown color back is very rare.
Minimum Bid $500.

Lot 85.  T215 Red Cross Clark Griffith. Beautifully centered, clean ex-mt card.
Minimum Bid $500.

Lot 86.  T216 Kotton Cy Young. Difficult thin paper variety. Small piece out of left side and some creasing. Bank is clean and has slogan “Never Go Out”.
Minimum Bid $350.

Lot 87.  H-unc. Champ Hats Real Photo Advertising Cards of Dixie Walker and Mickey Vernon. Newly discovered real Photo sepia cards measuring 8” x 10” with different ads for the Hat company at the bottom. Easily dated at 1947 since Vernon won the batting title in 1946 and Walker was near the end of his career in Right Field for Brooklyn. The photos were obviously in a binder as per the 2 hole punch at the left, there is some staining in the borders, but good clear photos.
Minimum Bid $250.
