Lot 80.  W603 Sports Exchange complete set of 113 cards. The set was issued in 13 series, 1A, 1B and 2-12. The last two series of 6 cards each featured two players on each card. The cards of Series 11 have been cut in half, each half with one player. The cards also have some tape remains in the series which includes Joe Jackson. Series 11 has one card (Sisti-Taylor) cut in half. Series 1A, 1B, 2, 3 and 4 have a numeral representing the series written at the bottom of the card in pencil (easily erased). The balance of the set (106 cards) is as issued and is generally in ex+ condition. Highlights: Ruth (vg), DiMaggio (ex), Williams (ex), Musial (ex), Gehrig (ex-mt), Lemon-Rolfe (vg-ex).

Lot 81.  1943 R302-1 MP & Co. set and 1949 R302-2 MP & Co. near set of 24 missing Foxx. Former is a set of 24 with 2 variations. The basic set is neatly cut and is ex-mt including DiMaggio, Williams, Feller and Greenberg. The two variations are Medwick (vg) which makes no mention of his trade to Brooklyn 3 years earlier and is rare. The other variation is Hubbell which shows a minor change in type on the rear. The Later near set of 24 is not as nice The Williams is ex-mt, DiMaggio (ex), Feller (ex-mt, Berra (poor). The balance varies from good to ex-mt.

Lot 82.  1960 Nu-Card Baseball Hi-Lites set with 16 variations and 1961 Nu-Card Baseball Scoops set. The Nu-Cards black and red set of 72 is near mint and is accompanied by #’s 1-16 of the 18 known rare black and white, blank backed varieties. The sixteen black and white cards are identical to the issued set except for #1-Ruth. It is noteworthy that these 16 cards carry a copyright indicator of “CVC” as opposed to the “NCI” (Nu-Card Inc.) the 1960 and 1961 sets show. The 1961 Nu-Card is 80 cards, numbered 401-480 and is near mint.

Lot 83.  1950 Drakes near set of 33 missing 18, 27 and 31. Tough set to find in nice condition, this one is well above average. Highlights: 1-Roe (gd), 5-Snider (vg), 6-Campanella (vg), 11-Hodges (gd-vg), 13-Doerr (vg), 14-Spahn (ex), 19-Reese (nr mt), 24-Berra (vg), 25-Rizzuto (ex), 33-D.DiMaggio (ex-mt), 36-Slaughter (gd). Lot 84.  1952 Coca-Cola Playing Tips near set of 9 missing Reese. All cards are excellent or better. Furillo has a 1” wrinkle in the middle of the card.

Lot 86.  1954 Johnston Cookie Completer set of 35 with 4 PSA graded cards and 7 extras. The graded cards are 5-Aaron (PSA NM 7), 21-Spahn (PSA EX-MT 6), the rare 34-Thomson (PSA EX 5) and 42-Calderone (PSA NM-MT 8). The Mathews is gd, with a tape stain, The balance of the cards includes 20 which are ex-mt or better, 5 cards are very good and 5 cards are good, In addition there are 7 extra cards including a rare Thomson (gd-vg), an autographed Wilson, 2 ex-mt, 2 very good and 1 good.

Lot 87.  M127 Journal American near set missing only Labine. 1954 set issued with the New York based Journal American newspaper. The set of 59 cards featured Dodger, Giant and Yankee players. Highlights: Campanella (ex), Hodges (ex-mt), Mantle (ex-mt), Mays (nr mt), Reese (ex-mt), Robinson (ex) and Snider (gd, corner reattached). Balance: 43 cards ex-mt, 7 cards vg, 1 card fair-good (Westrum).

Lot 88.  1952 Dixie Lid Premium sets of 24. 1952 set including Feller, Fox, Irvin, Kiner, Schoendienst and Slaughter is ex+-mt except for Ashburn which has a corner crease in the lower left and is very good.

Lot 90.  1957 Swifts Meats Complete set with Board and mailing envelope. Most unusual set where all 18 players have been removed from the sheets and assembled. Includes the original playing board and the original mailing envelope in excellent condition.

Lot 91.  1950-60’s Minor League lot. Includes 1958 Bond Bread Buffalo Bisons set of 9 (ex-mt), 1962 Omaha Dodgers set of 22 (nr mt-mt). 8 different 1961 Beehive Starch Toronto Maple Leafs (ex-mt) and 14 (of 20) 1966 Royal Crown Cola Columbus Clippers (ex, some toning).

Lot 92.  1960 Darigold Farms set of 24 Spokane Indians of the Pacific Coast League. Rare set featuring key cards of Frank Howard, fresh out of Ohio State and Willie Davis. 19 of the cards are ex-mt or better including the Davis, 6 of these have tabs. The balance of 5 are very good or better including the Howard, which has its tab.

Includes 1963 IDL Drug store near set with 25 of 27 including Clemente, Mazeroski and Stargell (nr mt). 1966 East Hills Shopping set of 25 (nr mt). 1968 KDKA-TV set of 23 (nr mt) and very undervalued 1969 Greiner Tires complete set of 8 (ex-mt).
