Lot 215.  1910 Royal Clothes Advertising Postcard of Frank Chance modeling a Royal Suit. Very rare. Ex+-mt.

Lot 216.  Magnificent Stetson Hat Philadelphia A's Advertising Post Card. Extremely rare with 3-5 known. Shows the champion Athletics surrounding Connie Mack. Baker, Bender, Collins and Plank are easily recognized along with 17 other players and the mascot. The back is a standard post card back (unused) with an ad for Stetson Hats in the message portion. Near Mint.

Lot 217.  PC757 or M101-3 Sporting News postcard set of 6. Very popular color tinted set from the Sporting News. Some of the poses match the M101-2 Supplements. Included in the set are Ty Cobb (unused, and excellent +), Walter Johnson-Gabby Street (ex-mt, with pencil notation on unused back), Rube Marquard (nr mt), Eddie Collins (ex-mt), Vean Gregg (ex-mt) and Roger Bresnahan (nr mt).

Lot 218.  PC782 Rotograph Luther "Dummy" Taylor. Very tough real photo card from the rare Rotograph series of New York players. The card of Taylor is excellent despite tiny crease in upper left corner.

Lot 219.  1926 Rogers Hornsby real photo commemorative postcard. Beautiful and rare card showing Hornsby posing in front of the stands in his first full year as Manager. Photo by "Spirit of the Times" as per front and rubber stamp on unused rear. Excellent-mint.

Lot 220.  PC-unc. Two 1906 postcards, St. Louis Browns and Washington Senators from the 16 card Sporting Life Team set. Sporting Life's only entry of major league baseball postcards was a memorable one. A 16 card set, one for each major league team, with identical images to the composite poses on their W600 Supplements. The St. Louis Browns, with Branch Rickey and Roddy Wallace and the Washington Senators, both unused with minimal wear. Near excellent.

Lot 221.  PC-unc. "Our Home Town" Detroit Tigers. One of an incomparable 5 card set of foldout postcards, featuring the offered Tigers and both St. Louis teams and both Chicago teams. The cover flap indicates "Our Home Team" and opens, accordian style, to reveal 7 flaps with a title page and 18 Detroit Tiger players on both sides including Ty Cobb, Sam Crawford, Hugh Jennings, etc. The cards appears to be excellent + but there is a closed small surface tear in the upper right, which is not even noticeable with the flap down.

Lot 222.  PC-unc. Monarch Typewriter Eddie Plank. An extremely rare, slightly oversized (5 3/4 x 3 5/8) series of cards featuring Philadelphia Athletics. The rear of the card, which was apparently issued just before the 1911 World Series, carries the results of the World Series since 1903 and a message from Connie Mack endorsing the Monarch typewriter. The card is unused, has round corners and is excellent. Possibly one-of-a-kind.

Lot 223.  PC792 group of 14 embossed postcards including 2 sets of 6. Fascinating assembly with 2 or 3 different color renditions for each of the six cards in the set including several with the much rarer multi color variety. 8 cards are unused including at least one from each design and all cards are excellent to near mint with no creases.

Lot 224.  Eclectic group of 16 Indian, College and Military teams. Indian teams are Nebraska Indians, Chippewa and Cherokees. 7 Military are from Utah, Texas, Great Lake, IL, Honolulu and Philadelphia. Colleges are 1907 Brown, 2 Harvards (neither is a team), Ibenville College in Quebec, 1908 Bucknell and graphic U. of Pa team. Range from good to excellent with real photos. Exceptional group.

Lot 225.  Small group of 8 Modern chrome cards, from the 1950's, mostly baseball. Includes 5 PC768 H.F. Gardner set (Hank & Tommy Aaron, Bill Bruton, Jesse Owens, Billy Williams and Lee Maye), 2 Dormands (Peewee Reese and Billy Pierce) and a Requenna Yogi Berra. All are ex-mt or near mint with the Aaron and Reese both near mint.
