Lot 262.  N165 Goodwin Games and Sports set of 50. Beautiful appearing popular set. All cards have excellent to mint fronts including the 4 baseball, 1 boxing and 1 football card. 26 cards have initials written in ink in the lower right hand corner on the back including 3 of the baseball and the football. 9 cards have writing along the border of the back of the card (see scan). Two cards have some paper remains on the back and 1 has a previous owner's name rubber stamped on the back. 12 cards have clean back including the Boxing.

Lot 263.  N162 Goodwin Champions group of 16 cards. All cards have back damage including some album remnants. Following grades, are for front only. Includes Dan Brouthers (paper loss on front), Jockey Isaac Murphy, a valuable ethnic card (ex), pugilist Jake Kilrain (ex) and Joe Acton, wrestler (vg-ex). Others are Wood, Rowell, Teemer, Schaefer, Steinitz, D'Oro, Taylor, Sears, Duncan, Hanlan, Zukertort and Carrison. All average very good+ except Wood which has a chip out of the side.

Lot 264.  Collection of 807 tobacco cards, with about half sports. There are 343 T218 Champions (172 Boxing, 116 Track & Field, 31 Billiards and 24 other), 65 T220 Boxing including 6 with silver border, 82 N224 Kinney Military uniforms, 57 T58 Sweet Caporal Fish, 101 T42 Sweet Caporal Birds, 39 T107 Helmar State Seals, 61 Sweet Caporal State Seals, Military uniforms, etc. and 79 large tobacco mostly Hassan and Turkish Trophies. Condition is fairly evenly distributed from good to excellent.

Lot 265.  Miscellaneous Wheaties remainder Collection. Series 1 (1935 Sports Figures) Collection of 6 and a group of 19 other Wheaties panels. The 1935 Sports figures, measure approximately 6 by 6 1/2 inches in fancy frame, includes tennis star Ellsworth Vines (Nr Mt) and rarely seen and desirable all-time great woman athlete Mildred "Babe" Didrikson in a basketball pose. (Vg, crease, scuff on frame). Fictitious Wheaties radio program characters Jack Armstrong (track, Ex-Mt; football, Nr Mt) and Betty Fairfield (golf, Nr Mt, skiing, Vg, creases) Didrikson is in the Track & Field Hall of Fame and Vines is in the Tennis Hall of Fame.The Miscellaneous Lot also includes Vg to Ex panels from five 1930s non-sports sets including Shirley Temple, Champions of Speed (Chas. Stephenson - jockey), Circus Cowboy Col. Tim McCoy (one corner clipped); 14 different Nr Mt full front or back panels from 1980s and 1990s including Bruce Jenner, Walter Payton (3), Chris Spielman, Mary Lou Retton (2), Pete Rose, plus 10-page Sports Illustrated article tracing history of Wheaties cereal and its collectibles.

Lot 266.  1940 and 1941 Champs of the USA (Misc. Series 1 & 5) Complete set of 28. Includes all seven variations of 1940 (#s1-13) and 1941 (#s14-21) with 25 of the 28 panels at rarely seen full size measuring approx. 6 by 8 1/4 inches. Panels are usually cut down within the dotted lines to 5 3/4 by 6 1/4 inches and you'll see individual subjects offered often. 13 panels have 2 punch holes mostly at places marked by the manufacturer, 11 of the panels with punch holes are full panels. Highlights: 2 DiMaggio Set 2's in first series, one ex+ and one neatly cut down with two punch holes. DiMaggio in 2nd series (#17) has an ex+ appearance but has the two punch holes. The series portrays athletes from many sports and includes Hank Greenberg, Bob Feller, Jimmy Foxx, Lynn Patrick, Byron Nelson, Don Budge, Dutch Clark, Davey O'Brien, Ralph Guldahl, Cecil Isbell, and many others. A remarkable set and rarely offered as an entire set with all variations.

Lot 267.  1951 Berk Ross set of 72 in individual cards. Top condition all sports set featuring 40 baseball cards, and various amounts of football, basketball, golf, etc. Highlights: DiMaggio (ex+-mt), Musial (nr mt), Berra (nr mt), Ford (nr mt), Hogan (nr mt). Balance: All ex+-mt or better.
