 Lot 217. 1935 Fancy Frame Script Signatures (Football Series 1) Complete set of 7 measuring approx. 6 by 6 1/2 inches with full fancy frame unless noted. Far more difficult than baseball. all seven subjects are in the Collegiate HOF and Nevers and Grange are also in the NFL HOF. Red Grange, (excellent, tiny nick near shoulder), Cris Cagle (excellent), Benny Friedman (excellent), Homer Jones (ex, barely noticeable creases in one corner), Harry Kipke (excellent), Pop Warner (excellent), Ernie Nevers (vg+, notch at top of frame).

 Lot 218. 1935 Fancy Frame All-Americans (Football Series 2) Complete set of 12 measuring approx. 6 by 6 1/2 inches with 75% of fancy frame unless noted. 4 Ex-Mt (Hartwig 50% frame; Hutson, Larson, Shepard); 4 Excellent (Lee, Maddox, Moynahan, Warburton), 3 Vg-Ex (Barclay full frame, Howell, Kostka), 1 very good (Robinson). Much tougher than baseball. Howell and Warburton are in the College Football Hall of Fame. Hutson is in both the College and Pro Football Hall of Fame.

 Lot 219. 1936 All-Americans (Football Series 3) Complete set of 12 including very scarce panels of Minnesota coach Bernie Bierman and Notre Dame end Wayne Millner. Usually cut down to the player's picture, these are rarely found in full 6 by 8 1/4 inch panels. 8 full panels (Bierman (Vg-Ex, minor creases); Beise (Ex); Millner (Ex+); Moscrip (Ex); Pilney (vg with small piece cut from lower left corner); Spain (vg, small nick at top), Wasicek (ex), Wilson (ex); 1 panel 6 by 7 3/4 (Riley Smith (gd); 1 panel 6 by 7 inches (Michaels, gd); 2 panels show only picture, 4" by 5" Lester (fr) & 4 5/8 by 5 5/8 inches Richard Smith (fr with glue residue & date stamps on blank back). Bierman, Lester, Millner, Moscrip, Riley Smith and Wilson are in the College Football Hall of Fame. Very tough set,

 Lot 221. 1935 Big Ten Football Game (Football Series 5) Collection of all 5 known panels measuring approx. 6 by 8 1/4 inches. Perhaps the toughest of all football issues, each panel shows offer for a Big Ten board game with small full length picture of NFL player. Manske (ex-mt), Herber (ex), Nagurski (ex), Kercheval (ex), Danowski, (gd, 3 punch holes on side). Manske is in the College Football Hall of Fame. Herber is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Nagurski is in both the College and Pro Football Halls of Fame.
