Lot 287.  Group of 4 Wheaties Small Single Serving Panels. Extremely rare group of four small panels with the same designs and numbers as Baseball Series 7 (The 29 Series). They came from the backs of individual serving boxes sold only in restaurants and railroad dining cars. Included are Travis (29B), Moore (29D), Lombardi (29E) and Radcliff (29H). About 1/4 inch of one border on Travis is trimmed, otherwise all are excellent with some of the usual paper remains on the blank backs.

Lot 288.  Partial set of 56 (of 75) R330 Doubleplays. Includes 1-4, 7-14, 17-38, 41-2, 45-54, 59-60, 65-80, 83-88, 91-96, 99-110, 113-116, 119-124, 127-8, 135-140, 145-150. Highlights: 23-4 Reese (ex), 31-2 Ott (ex+), 51-2 Greenberg (ex), 59-60 Cronin-Foxx (gd), 65-6 Dickey (fair), 77-8 Feller (ex), 85-6 Greenberg-Ruffing (vg-ex), 105-6 Grove-Doerr (ex), 139-40 Hubbell (ex+). Lot 289.  Group of 4 baseball wrappers. 1939 Playball, 1941 Goudey, Sport King and 1952 Topps. The 1939 has pieces of scotch tape in the corners adhering it to a piece on paper, otherwise no holes or tears. The 1952 Topps 1c wrapper is in vg-ex condition, the tough 1941 Goudey is about excellent and the fairly easy Sport King is excellent.

Lot 290.  1939 Playball group of 104 different cards. Includes 7 HOF'ers, 5 High numbers and 92 low numbers. The Hall of Famers are Dickey (gd-vg), Doerr (ex, o/c), Doerr (vg), Durocher (ex), Ferrell (fair), Gomez (gd) and Manush (vg-ex). The high numbers grade 1 ex+, 1 vg, 2 good and 1 fair. Condition Breakdown: 30 cards excellent, 44 cards very good, 15 cards good and 2 cards pr-fr. There are a few duplicates.

Lot 291.  1940 Playball group of 141 different low numbers. Appears to be a complete run less Hall of Famers. Condition Breakdown: 39 cards excellent, 96 cards very good, 5 cards good and 2 cards fair. Four cards are autographed Schumacher, West, Cuccinello and Berger.

Lot 292.  Group of 7 High Grade 1941 Playballs including Reese and DiMaggio. Includes 34 (nr mt), 43 (nr mt), 44 (ex-mt), 52 (nr mt), 54-Reese (nr mt, o/c), 56-Vander Meer (nr mt), 63-D. DiMaggio (ex+-mt, o/c).

Lot 293.  Grab bag of 24 cards, mostly 1930's featuring 9 Mickey Cochrane (including an R328 U.S. Caramel), 2 early Mickey Mantle cards and a 1938 Dixie Lid of Bronko Nagurski. The R328 U.S. Caramel of Cochrane is ex+. Other Cochrane cards are R305 Tattoo Orbit (ex), R318 Batter Up (ex), R319 Goudey (gd-vg), R320 Goudey (vg), R321 2D (ex), R322 Goudey (ex), R333 Delong (vg), R335 Play Ball (ex+) and R338 Heads Up #248 (gd-vg). The Dixie lid of Nagurski is the small size, blue tint and is excellent. Other cards are R322 Goudey Higgins (ex), 2 1939 Playball #139 (ex and vg), 1941 Playball Klein (ex+), Wyatt (ex) and Gumbert (vg-ex), 1941 Goudey #7-Ambler (ex), 1941 Double Play 3-4 and 5-6 (both ex). 1953 Topps Mantle (good) and 1955 Bowman Mantle (gd-vg), 1954 Bowman Rizzuto (vg-ex) and 1962 Topps #139-Reniff (ex-mt).

Lot 294.  Baseball Grab bag of 47 miscellaneous issues from 1906-1975. Group of 47 items highlighted by two W503's of 26-Rawlings (vg-ex) and 10-McMillan (vg). Also an E254 Colgan Chip (Chase, ex), an M101-7 (Simmons, ex), an M101-8, F7 Dixie Ice Cream Premium Gabby Hartnett (port) front Ex, back has glue residue near top, 6 PC792 Embossed 1906 Eagle Shields (1 ex & 5 ex-mt), R303 (ex), R310 (2, vg-ex), R311 (Bottomley, ex-mt), R314 Creamy (6 including Averill, all ex-mt), R314 borderless (ex). Lot 295.  W560 Red & Black partial set of 40 cards including 5 jokers. The W560 is actually two distinct sets even though they share many of the same subjects. The single color W560 (red or black) is quite common as there was a warehouse find about ten years ago. The two color issue (red and black) is a far rarer set. Highlights: Gehrig (ex, o/c), Johnson (ex+), Foxx joker (ex), Cochrane joker (ex), Pennock joker (ex). Balance is average excellent and includes 10 HOF'ers (Bottomley, Cuyler, Goslin, Grove, Hoyt, Hornsby, Lindstrom, Simmons, Vance, L. Waner and P. Waner).

Lot 296.  W600 Sporting Life Cabinet Napolean Lajoie, Cleveland A. L. Beautiful card with a minimum of corner wear. Clean back with two tiny spots by the edge. .Excellent +.

Lot 299.  W600 Sporting Life Cabinet Homer Hillebrand, Pittsburg N.L. Hillebrand had a short stay with the Pirates in 1905-6, and 1908 pitching in 18 games. Photos of him are not easily found. Some wear at the corners and vertical stain on the rear with two tiny spots.

Lot 300.  Group of 106 different R314 Wide Pens. Includes 88 R314A Wide Pen with 14 HOF'ers (average vg-ex), 13 R314B Creamy with Greenberg (vg), Hartnett (ex+) and Gehringer (vg), balance average excellent, 4 borderless including Greenberg & Appling (ex-mt), others vg-ex and 1 R314D Canadian Purcey (poor).

Lot 301.  1930's Post Cereal Famous North Americans group of 28 including Christy Mathewson. Little is know about this presumed set of 32. It features Famous North Americans, e.g. Daniel Boone, Davy Crockett, Ben Franklin, U.S. Grant, etc. Most notable is Christy Mathewson, the only sports figure. The cards are neatly cut and are excellent. 23 of the cards have a number written in pencil in the upper left corner.
