Lot 367.  1931 Churchman Prominent Golfers #5 Bobby Jones SGC 88 NM/MT 8. Far more difficult than the 50 card small Prominent Golfers set, this near perfect card is from the very difficult 12 card large set. As attested to by SGC the card is near perfect.

Lot 368.  Fourth Ryder Cup Program played in 1933 at Southport. Elaborate 64 page program commemorating this Ryder Cup won by the United Kingdom 6 1/2 - 5 1/2 and tying the series 2-2. It would be the last time the UK would win for 24 years. The rare program is enhanced by the very rare signature of the UK's immortal James Taylor on page 32 next to his full page photo (centerfold), Taylor signed "JH Taylor" clearly in ink. Other signatures are Syd Easterbrook, elegantly in ink by his photo and Arthur Lacey in pencil near his. The book is in very good condition with very slight soiling on the cover. The front cover is partially detached and has been slightly reinforced and the centerfold is loose (easily fixed). An extremely nice early and rare Ryder Cup Program.

Lot 369.  Incredible 1937 Autographed Ryder Cup Program at Southport, England. An amazing program signed by 11 from the fourth Ryder Cup including the very tough signatures of Captain Walter Hagan, Horton Smith and Craig Wood. Other American signatures are Ed Dudley, Olin Dutra, Gene Sarazen, Leo Diegel, Paul Runyan, Denny Shute. British team signatures Are A.H. Padgham and W. H. Davies. All signatures are near perfect in ink except Runyan which is in pencil. The 64 page program is filled with photos of all players, previous teams and layouts of the holes. The centerfold is loose and the front cover has a vertical crease and light light writing in the upper right corner. Very good. Mike Guiterrez COA.

Lot 370.  1937 Donut Company of America Bobby Jones card. Part of a 72 card package design set which donut boxes had cards as part of the box. Set commemorating Famous Americans including some sports figures. The Jones card notes his "Grand Slam" win of all four golf majors 7 years earlier. Neatly cut on black line with some white showing at bottom. There are some paper remains on the otherwise blank box from being pasted in an album. A lesser example of Jones brought $2,354 in our April 2005 auction.

Lot 371.  1947 Ryder Cup Program at the Portland Golf Club. This was the first Ryder Cup since 1937 and is a difficult program to find. The U.S. won easily behind playing captain Ben Hogan. The 96 page program is excellent.

Lot 372.  1949 Ryder Cup ticket set of 3 from the matches at Ganton Golf Club in England. A daily ticket for all 3 days including the practice round. Tickets show some wear but overall are in excellent condition. The U.S. team came back to win with Ben Hogan as their captain. Hogan couldn't play because of his automobile accident earlier in the year.

Lot 373.  Autographed Bobby Jones' 1960 hardcover book "Golf is My Game"., with dust jacket, is in excellent condition. Signed and inscribed on the inside blank page "For Ed Parker With Best Regards Bob Jones" boldly in blue ink. A GAI COA signed by Mike Gutierrez and a LOA signed by Jim Spence with PSA.

Lot 374.  Autographed copy Tommy Armour's 1959 "A Round of Golf" with dust jacket in excellent condition. Armour signs and inscribes "To Mary and Nate Sharp I hope your invasion of Scotland (The land of the Brave) will be very enjoyable. Regards Tommy Armour". COA by Mike Gutierrez.

Lot 375.  1956 Walter Hagan autobiography signed "Golfingly Walter Hagan 1957". Famous book with original dust jacket. Book and autograph are in excellent condition. Dust jacket has some minor pieces out of top and bottom. Mike Gutierrez COA.
