Lot 395.  R36 Fleers Cops and Robbers set of 35. Innovative and difficult complete set issued in 1935. All but 3 cards are excellent plus.

Lot 396.  R61 Pressner Government Agents vs. Public Enemies near set of 23, missing 1 (A212). Cards are almost all vg-ex, one is good.

Lot 397.  R128 Series of 48 set of Indians, R712-4 Topps TV Westerns set of 71 and R714-2 Topps Bring 'Em Back Alive set of 100. The R128 set is neatly separated and has 44 cards excellent and 4 very good. The TV Westerns set has 60 cards ex-mt or near mint and 11 vg-ex and the Bring "Em Back Alive set has 78 cards excellent or better and the balance average very good. There are also 8 Bring 'Em Back Alive duplicates which average excellent.

Lot 398.  R133 Movie Stars near set of 89, missing 7 #'s (110-111, 131, 135, 167, 172 and 194). Set is divided in sections showing child stars (Shirley Temple), actresses (Greta Garbo, Norma Shearer, Jean Harlow), Cowboys (Buck Jones (2), John Wayne, Tom Mix), and actors (Cary Grant, Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy, WC Fields, Bing Crosby, Gary Cooper, Jimmy Durante). Cards are mostly well cut and are very good-excellent. There are two error cards with wrong backs.

Lot 399.  R134 Movie Stars partial set of 80 (of 96). Numbered from 501-596. Missing #'s are 512, 519, 524, 542, 546, 550, 552, 554, 562, 565, 573, 575, 577-8, 592-3. Set includes Carole Lombard, Buck Jones, etc. All but a few are excellent or better.

Lot 400.  F-unc. 1937 Donut Company of America partial set of 60 from 72 card set with Album. Cards issues as package design cards on the sides of donut boxes. Set was titled "Thrilling Moments in the Lives of Famous Americans". The offered cards were glued in the album and were removed. There is some glue residue and the cards are neatly cut. The album is in much nicer condition than is usually found with note to the glue remains. There are no sports stars in the cards.

Lot 401.  R77 Goudey Indians partial set of 131. Includes 61 cards the Series of 48 (2-4, 6-7, 10, 12-4, 18-21, 23-48, 162, 165, 168, 170, 179, 200-1, 206 and 208-9). The are 5 numbers (29-30, 35, 39, 40) with both red and blue bottom logos and 7 duplicates. Also 28 cards from the Series of 96 (2, 5, 8, 16, 25, 28, 33, 45, 49, 51, 53-8, 60-2, 64-7, 69, 71 and 72) and 2 duplicates. 24 cards from the Series of 192 (46, 74-5, 89-91, 96-101, 11-2, 114, 122-3, 129, 133-5, 139 and 141) and 1 duplicate. 18 cards from the Series of 216 (76-7, 79-80, 82-8, 143, 145, 147, 149, 153, 157, 159). Finally, 4 cards from the Series of 264 (95, 106, 198 and 210). Condition breakdown: 54 cards excellent or better, 55 cards very good, 22 cards fair-good.

Lot 402.  Both Goudey Indian Gum Wrappers, the first from the original Goudeys R73 set and the second from Goudey's reissue set R773, which was Goudey's last issue. Both wrappers are in remarkable condition especially the tough 1933 which has no folds.

Lot 403.  R773 1947 Goudey Indian Gum set of 96. The last set issued by Goudey Gum only easily distinguishable from their original 1930's issue by the black print on the back.. A significantly lesser set went in the Spring Robert Edward Auction for $4,500. Condition Breakdown: 55 cards ex-mt with some near mint, 25 cards excellent, 11 cards very good, 5 cards good.

Lot 404.  1948 Leaf Pirates near set of 40 (of 49). 28 cards ex-mt or better, 8 cards excellent, 2 cards very good, 2 cards trimmed.

Lot 405.  1949 Bowman America Salutes the FBI set of 36. Extremely nice set. Condition breakdown: 30 cards ex-mt, 2 cards excellent, 2 cards gd-vg, 2 cards poor-fair;

Lot 406.  Topps Look N See set of 135. Popular unusual set issued of famous Americans with a 3-D back. Set includes Babe Ruth, which is in very good condition. The balance of the set includes 117 ex-mt cards, 12 very good and 5 good. The red cellophane "viewer" is included.

Lot 407.  Two complete 100 card sets of R714-2 Frank Buck's Bring Em Back Alive and R714-1 Animals of the World. The Animals of The World set is actually a sequel set to the former and is numbered 101-200 whereas the Frank Buck set is numbered 1-100. There are 86 cards ex-mt or better in the Animals of the World set (the rest are very good and there are 66 cards ex-mt or better in the Frank Buck set, 27 cards vg-ex and 7 cards good. The lesser grade cards are in a large part due to centering problems which abound in this set.

Lot 408.  F219-3 10 different (of 36) Royal Pudding Stars of the Movies. Nearly identical to the more publicized baseball, hockey and basketball issues and just as difficult as the latter two. Group includes Farley Granger, John Derek, Yvonne DeCarlo, Gene Tierney, Audie Murphy, Donald O'Connor, Pat O'Brien, John Lund, William Lundigan and Evelyn Keyes. All cards are neatly cut and average vg-excellent.
