Lot 402. F-Unc. Post Cereal Famous North Americans assumed partial set of 16 in original panels. In our November 2006 auction, one of the offerings (Lot 301) was a near set of Post Cereal Famous North Americans. That set was seldom seen and the believed set of 32 cards is not known. The full panels measure 15" x 7 1/4" and are probably the only copies known. The 16 subjects are Ethan Allen, Buffalo Bill, George Custer, Alexander Hamilton, Patrick Henry, Sam Houston, Stonewall Jackson, John Paul Jones, Robert E. Lee, Abraham Lincoln, Robert Peary, Molly Pitcher, King Phillip, Paul Revere, Sitting Bull and George Washington. Near Mint and rare!
