Lot 316.  A bound run of the Baseball Magazine from 1929-1957 in 16 bound volumes. All beautifully and professionally bound. Fourteen of the volumes are bound in black, although there are two sizes, one slightly smaller thasn the other. The remaining two volumes are bound with blue covers. Every issue from 1929 to the historic magazine's demise in 1957.Some covers had a rubber stamp on them and the books are otherwise in excellent condition. Almost 500 issues.

Lot 317.  A complete run of Sport Magazine from 1946-1987 in 70 volumes. From the first issue showing a historic photo of Joe DiMaggio with his son to the last issue in 1987. There are 70 volumes all professionally and uniformly bound. The issues from January to June of 1956 are not bound. There are some rubber stamp marks on the front covers and many had the back covers removed by the binder. About 500 issues.

Lot 318.  The Sporting News from 1936-1939 in 8 bound volumes. Fabulous era from DiMaggio's first years and Williams' rookie year, thru the final years of Lou Gehrig and the end of his streak.

Lot 319.  The Sporting News from 1940-1949 in 20 bound volumes. DiMaggio's hitting streak in 1941, Ted's .406, Owen's Passed ball, thru the war years. The Red Sox get to the Series, the beginning of Jackie Robinson's career including his first year in Montreal. Its all here with every box score.

Lot 320.  The Sporting News from 1950-1959 in 20 bound volumes. The emergence of Mantle and Mays. Thomson's Home Run, the unforgettable 1955 Dodger World Series win, and Larsen's perfect game and sadly the last years in New York for the Dodgers and Giants and the opening of major league baseball on the West Coast. The final 7 years of Jackie Robinson .

Lot 321.  The Sporting News from 1960-1969. Expansion- new teams in New York, Houston, California, etc. Maris hits 61, the balance of Mantle's Career, the Koufax era. The Yankee dynasty ends. The Mets win the series.

Lot 322.  The Sporting News from 1970-2000. Thirty-one years of baseball. The first ten years of Barry Bonds, Brooks Robinson, Cal Ripken, and many, many more with too many years to recount.

Lot 323.  A complete run of nearly 58 years of Baseball Digest from the first issue in August 1942 to the last issue of 1999. A treasure trove of baseball information: feature articles by the games leading journalists, player profiles, stats, schedules, rosters, rookie projections, history, trivia and features like "The Game I'll Never Forget" and "So You Think You Know Baseball." Professionally bound in 85 volumes with virtually every issue at least excellent.
