Ruth, Gehrig, Jackson, Cobb, Wagner and Mantle
12 Lots
Lot 122. E90-2 American Caramel Honus Wagner PSA 4 VG-EX. An extremely nice example of the key card from the 11 card set of Champion Pittsburgh Pirates. A bit of dirt residue and a tiny wrinkle in the upper right corner.
Winning Bid $6,912.

Lot 124. E103 Williams Caramel Honus Wagner PSA AUTHENTIC. One of the key cards from the very difficult E103 set. The back is fairly clean and there is no clear indication of what the “Authentic” designation problem is. Most likely possibility is the card is slightly trimmed at the bottom. Still, a very desirable card.
Winning Bid $3,146.

Lot 125. E286 Ju-Ju Drum Honus Wagner PSA PR-FR 1. One of the toughest type cards and with Honus Wagner. The front is near mint, however there is some paper loss on the rear in the middle. Still, there can’t be many of these around.
Winning Bid $4,719.
|
Lot 127. R319 Goudey #144 Babe Ruth and #160 Lou Gehrig. The Ruth has a good front with creasing and the back has damage and paper loss. The Gehrig has a spot of paper loss on the lower right of the front and a 1“ crease in the lower left. The back is clean.
Winning Bid $660.

Lot 130. 1951 and 1952 Bowman Mickey Mantles. Both SGC graded VG 3. The 1952 is a beautifully centered card, a small gum stain on the rear and a minute wrinkle crease that runs through his right shoulder to bottom of right forearm. The high value 1951 looks harshly graded and appears to be a 4 or 5. Centered slightly right and a tiny gum stain.
Winning Bid $2,205.
