Lot 29. The “Golden Hours Magazine” of July 7, 1900, with a drawn, color composite of the New York Giants Baseball Club. Accompanied by a nearly 2 page article entitled “New York vs. Brooklyn Battle for the 1900 Pennant”. Brooklyn was defending their 1899 Championship and they won again in 1900 as the Giants finished last. The attractive color drawing has some interesting players including George Davis (HOF), George Van Haltren (should be HOF), Jack Doyle and Charles Frisbee, who is a tough player to get a picture of. The cover is split at the spine but is in otherwise excellent condition.
