Lot 69.  1956 Topps Pin set of 60. Very popular set of pins sold one to a box with a piece of gum. The pins portray the same portraits as on the 1956 Topps baseball cards. The set is enhanced by the presence of the 3 rarities, Diering, Lopez and Stobbs. Highlights: Aaron (nr mt), Diering (nr mt except for some minor printers ink on the left side), Lopez (nr mt), Mays (nr mt), Robinson (nr mt, slight o/c), Stobbs (nr mt), Williams (nr mt).

Lot 72.  1958 Topps very high grade set of 495. An extraordinary set with about 95% near mint. The Mantle and Clemente have been high graded by SGC. There are centering problems that would be encountered with a set assembled from a case and obviously there are no gum stains. Lot 74.  1959 Topps high grade set of 572 including a SGC Mantle 8. Beautiful set with most cards (80%) nr mt with the balance almost all ex-mt. There are centering problems that would be encountered with a set assembled from a case and obviously there are no gum stains. We noticed about a dozen consecutive cards that were mishandled and resulted in a dented corner. Lot 76.  1961 Topps set of 588. A spectacular set with eleven key cards SGC graded including an SGC Mantle 8. The cards are near mint and better subject to centering and an occasional printing defect. There are no gum stains. Bought by our consignor from the historic dealer Sam Rosen. As nice a 1961 Topps set as I’ve ever seen. The graded cards that grade below near mint are because of centering, and there are 9 cards in the last series that would be considered to have severe centering problems.
