Lot 143.  2 E107 Breisch Williams cards of Lew Ritchie and Bill Hallman. The Ritchie card showing the Pirate 2nd Baseman has a near mint appearance on the front. The blank rear shows some abrasion from being removed from an album. The Hallman has the rarer pre-printed back but has multiple creases and is in poor-fair condition.

Lot 144.  Four better Hall of Fame baseball cards including 2 S74, a V122 and a high grade 1939 Playball Rare series #145 Earl Averill. The two S74’s are Evers and Tinker. Both are very good with their original paper backing. Also a V122 #2 Eddie Collins (excellent) and the key card in the 1939 Playball Rare series Earl Averill (SGC 84 NM 7).

Lot 146.  All 4 poses of the T206 White Borders of Ty Cobb. Bat off shoulder, Sweet Caporal 350/30 (vg), Bat on shoulder, Sweet Caporal 150/30 (gd-vg), Portrait Green background, Sweet Caporal 150/30 (fair-good), and Portrait Red background, Sweet Caporal 350/30 (good).

Lot 147.  All 3 T206 White Borders poses of both Cy Young and Napoleon Lajoie. All the T206 of the two great Cleveland Indian Hall of Famers. Cy Young - Portrait, Sweet Caporal 350/30 (almost vg), Pitching, side view, Sweet Caporal 150/30 (vg), Pitching front view, Sweet Caporal 350/30 (gd-vg). Nap Lajoie - Portrait, Sweet Caporal 150/30 (very good), batting Sweet Caporal 350/30 (very good), throwing Sweet Caporal 150/30 (good).

Lot 152.  Group of 125 T206 White Borders in very good condition. Nice group with virtually no creases. Highlights include G. Brown, Chicago, Cicotte, 2 Chase, black hat and Dahlen, Bklyn (gd-vg).

Lot 153.  Group of 11 T206’s with Sweet Caporal 350-460 Series with rare Factory 42 or Factory 42 Overprint backs. There are 8 cards with the rare Factory 42 back without the overprint as follows: 2 Crandall (vg and poor), Devore (vg), 2 Ford (vg, gd-vg), Gandil (gd-vg), Schekard (gd-vg) and Tannehill (vg). The three with the Factory 42 and the overprint are Donlin (fair-gd), Meyers (vg) and Schulte (vg).

Lot 154.  Group of 6 T206 Printing errors, double prints, etc. Cards are for Charles (trimmed), O’Brien, McLean, Krause Hayden and Howard.

Lot 155.  Remainder of 146 T206 white borders. Condition ranges from poor to good-very good with the great majority fair to good.

Lot 156.  Group of 3 better cards – an SGC graded E285 Rittenhouse and 2 T200’s. The Rittenhouse is Babe Herman and has been graded SGC 40 VG 3. It appears nr mint, but has apparently been downgraded for a stamp hinge stain on the rear. It should be noted that the Rittenhouse is a very rare variety with the number “3” on the rear instead of the expected letter or prize offering. The two T200’s are Chicago A.L. (vg-ex) and Philadelphia NL, which appears excellent but has a 1/4” tear at the top.

Lot 157.  4 W-unc. “Heads Up” strip cards. From a very rare 20 card set of strip cards characterized by full body portraits of players with large heads. In this group are 4 players as follows: Heine Groh, misspelled “Hinie” (near mint), Wally Schang (vg-ex), Leon Cadore (vg) and Eddy Konetchy (vg, chipped UR corner).
