Jay Issued this special pack especially for the 1956 World Series, the 6th and last time the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Yankees would ever meet in the World Series. There were 25 photos provided for each team and a special envelope was made for the issue. The Dodger photos include the same 12 in the pack above except for Podres and 14 new ones - Sandy Koufax, Jim Gilliam, Billy Herman, Jake Pitler, Joe Becker, Roger Craig, Al Walker, Sal Maglie, Chico Fernandez, Don Bessent, Ed Roebuck, Don Drysdale, Charlie Neal and Sandy Amoros. The Yankees included Casey Stengel, Mickey Mantle, Larry Berra, Bill Skowron, Frank Crosetti, Bill Dickey, Elston Howard, Hank Bauer, Don Larsen, Billy Martin, Tom Morgan, Bob Turley, Tom Sturdivant, Johnny Kuchs, Gil McDougald, Gerry Coleman, Charlie Silvera, Whitey Ford, Bob Grim, Billy Hunter, Joe Collins, Bob Cerv, Tommy Byrne, Jim Turner and Andy Carey. Condition is ex-mt, mostly mint.
