Lot 365. 1961 Masters First Round ticket. Gary Player won on the last hole to turn a one stroke defeat into a one stroke victory. He defeated Arnold Palmer, who was going for his 2nd straight Masters and 3rd in four years. Also one stroke back was Charles Coe, an Amateur. Player’s victory was the first Masters victory for an International Player. The green ticket has its original string and is in near mint condition except for a very small stain on the right edge.
