Lot 376.  5 better wrappers – 3 different R319 Goudey wrappers, a Ringside Boxing and an R73 Goudey Indian Gum wrapper. Two of the R319 wrappers have the standard “Big League Chewing Gum” with a slight variation in the batter, the third wrapper shows the “Wrappers Are Valuable” ad in the center. The baseball wrappers are in very good condition, and the Ringside and Indian Gum are excellent.

Lot 377.  F273-27 1937 Kelloggs Pep near set of 77 stamps (of 90) in the album from the Creator’s archive. The album comes from the archives of Gordon Gold, generally the largest creator of children’s premiums in the U.S. Originally sold by Hakes Americana. Included is a Letter of Origin signed by Gordon Hill to Hakes. The Album, which measures 14 1/2” x 10”, is occasionally seen, but not like this. Usually the Spinner on the inside cover (on the back of the circular baseball panel on the cover) is gone, and almost always the detachable strip on the bottom of the front cover is gone, which contained pieces for a game that could be played. The stamps are glued in their appropriate spots in the album, and include 16 of the 18 baseball (including Walter Johnson and missing only Fonseca and Tinker), 17 of the 18 football (including Grange, Nagurski, Thorpe, etc and missing only Bill Cunningham), 10 of the 12 golfers, 11 of the 12 boxers, 5 of the 6 swimmers, 5 of the 6 tennis players and 15 of the 18 Race Horses, Race Drivers and Aviators. The album has some tape remains on the inside back cover and otherwise excellent + with the stamps being excellent to ex-mt.

Lot 378.  1947 Coca Cola Bobby Jones and Red Grange Standup displays. The 15” x 13” displays are missing their stands and both have a pinhole and some cornerwear. The Jones has some light creasing but still presents very well. The Grange has some red coloring on the left side. Both are stil very attractive and would look great framed on a wall.

Lot 381.  1956 R749 Gum Adventure set of 100 including the rare #86 Max Schmeling card. Almost all are near mint and better. The Schmeling card has a ding in the lower right corner and is ex+-mt. The set includes 20 boxing cards, a Harry Agganis card, a hockey card, several track and field and some other sports cards.
