Lot 481.  75 R714-27 Topps Magic Photos. Group includes 10 boxers (Dempsey, Tunney, Louis, etc), 11 Football (2 Bednarik, Walker, Suhey, etc), 15 Wrestlers, 6 basketball, 11 Actors (Gable, Grable, Bergman), also dogs and track stars. Most have nice clarity and there are 10-15 with some creasing.

Lot 483.  Sports Illustrated Test Issue and first 5 issues. The rare test issue issued in December 5, 1953 and the first 5 issue of Sports Illustrated commencing on August 16, 1954. That issue with the very popular foldout of replica 1954 Topps cards is excellent and the test issue and Issues 2 through 5 are near mint.

Lot 484.  1955 All-American Sports Club. Most unusual item. First time we’ve seen it offered in its entirety. A couple of years ago we were offered (and turned down) some strips from an unknown issue and now its obvious what the origin was. The mailing came in a 12 1/2" x 9 1/2" manila envelope from Hollywood 38, CA. It includes 16 12" x 9" sheets showing a total of 500 two inch photos. Fifteen of the sheets each had 32 2" x 1 1/4" photos of basketball (109 photos), boxing (15 photos), football (132 photos), baseball (218 photos) and golf (26 photos). Included are virtually every star of the period. The 16th sheet had a complete checklist. Also included are an All-American Sports Club welcome letter with a photo a Willie Mays and a page of application coupons. Finally, the group included 5 separate photos, an 8 x 10 of Elroy Hirsch and 4" x 5" photos of Hank Bauer and Phil Rizzuto and 5" x 6" photos of Rocky Maricano and Jackie Robinson. All in near mint condition.
