Lot 300.  PC760 Rose Postcard of Harry Lord, Boston A.L. Very nice card of the Sox 3rd baseman with only wear at the corners and a clean back.

Lot 301.  Rare postcard of 1909 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) baseball team with coach Johnny Evers. Evers is in the back row at the left. The card is creased, unused and has a couple of spots of paper loss on the address portion.

Lot 302.  1912 New York Giant oversized Mailing card. The 6 3/4" x 5" blank backed card is divided with a team picture of the Championship team at the bottom and individual photos of Christy Mathewson, Manager McGraw, John Murray and Artie Wilson. Excellent,

Lot 303.  4 RPPC’s of Honus Wagner. All show Wagner in later years. One shows him batting as a coach (unused, but some creasing) and another photo post card (not real photo) shows Wagner as a coach at Carnegie Tech in 1922 (postally used). The final two show Wagner at home, one with family and another holding a baby. Both excellent and unused.

Lot 304.  A tough Real photo postcard of Wrigley Field in Los Angeles. Shows an aerial view of the park from beyond center field. There is corner crease in the UL and the card was postally used in 1928.

Lot 305.  A promotional post card used by the Chicago Cubs in 1942 inviting patrons to fill out a brief survey in order to get two free tickets with a detachable return postcard to the Cubs. First one I’ve ever seen.

Lot 306.  Very rare Ted Williams Jimmy Fund The 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" blue tinted card was issued with a blank back and then used as a postcard, mailed from Boston in 1953. Shows William batting with a Jimmy Fund message at the bottom. The card is accompanied by a check made out to "Ted Williams - Jimmy Fund" for $1. The check is endorsed by Williams on the back.
Winning Bid $200.


Lot 307.  8 1952-55 Dormand Postcards including 2 Mickey Mantles. Very high grade group includes Mantle-bat off shoulders (near mint), Mantle-bat on shoulder (ex+-mt), Bollweg, Furillo, Martin, McDougald, Reynolds, very rare Johnny Sain advertising Chevrolet dealership.

Lot 308.  2 rare Houston Colt .45 Stadium chrome PC’s. Both are by Dexter Press, one is numbered 89072-B and shows the ballpark at night from down the left field line. The other is numbered 69759-B and shows an aerial view with the title "Home of the Colt .45’s in red. Both are unused and in excellent condition.

Lot 309.  Collection of 37 Major League Stadium Postcards. Includes 23 American League and 14 National League. Most are pre-linen. Highlights of the A.L. Interior Cleveland, Muehlenbach Field, K.C., Wiedemayer’s Park, Newark, early Shibe Park (2), 2 early Yankees, Navin Field, etc. Highlights of the N.L. are Baker Bowl, Columbia Ball Park, early Pittsburgh, Polo Grounds, etc. Most are unused and excellent.

Lot 310.  Esoteric Collection of 216 Minor League, Town team post cards, College & School and foreign baseball post cards. There are 11 team postcards, all pre-linen; There are 10 minor league postcards including 8 pre-linen and 2 linen era with a Panoramic of the Utica field; Included are 4 foreign postcards of the championship Yokahoma team, a Korean team under Japanese control. There are 18 postcards of colleges and schools, almost all pre-linen highlighted by a very rare postcard of Tuskegee Institute. There are 3 House of David postcards, all unused; Finally, 160 postcards showing baseball fields or games in progress. Most are pre-linens and more than half are used.
