Cobb, Wagner, Jackson, Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio, Williams

  6 Lots

Lot 151.  Three better tobacco cards of Ty Cobb (2) and Walter Johnson. The Cobb’s include a T205 SGC graded VG 3 and an ungraded T201 with Cobb and Sam Crawford (vg). Also a T205 of Walter Johnson, at least vg, with some wear at two corners.
Winning Bid $1,209.

Lot 152.  B18 Blanket Joe Jackson with purple bases and green paths. The easier of the two color combinations the Jackson is known with. The pennant printing is slightly out of register and the cut is close on one side, otherwise excellent with a very clear image of Jackson. Overall very good +.
Minimum Bid $250.

Lot 153.  S74 Turkey Red Silk of Ty Cobb with original paper backing. The backing has separated from the silk but is obviously associated with it. Both have a light horizontal bend in the same place. Aside from the light bend the silk and the backing are in excellent condition.
Minimum Bid $300.

Lot 154.  T206 Ty Cobb Bat off shoulder. Well centered card from the Piedmont 350-460 series. Factory 25. Two light small creases with a clean back. Good.
Winning Bid $446.

Lot 155.  E94 Cobb and D304 Cobb both trimmed. Two very desirable cards in poor condition. The D304 has the Brunners back. Both cards have no margins except for most of the bottom where the name is. The backs have no damage.
Winning Bid $1,264.

Lot 156.  W514 Strip card #15 Joe Jackson. Light crease in upper right, otherwise a very good card of Jackson.
Winning Bid $600.
