Lot 308.  1935 6” x 4 ¼” autograph album page with 10 signatures from the Green Bay Packers. The signatures include 5 Hall of Famers including the extremely rare Walter Kiesling, E. L. “Curly” Lambeau and Cal Hubbard. The other two HOF’ers are Arnold Herber and Clarke Hinkle. The 5 other Packers are Milt Gantenbein, Bob Monnett, Rog Grove, Ernie Smith and Swede Johnson. The signatures are all perfectly clear. Accompanied by a JSA LOA.

Lot 309.  The Four Horsemen of Notre Dame. Four 3 x 5’s, each with one of the legendary Four Horsemen. Authenticated by Jim Spence and encapsulated by SGC. Named by Grantland Rice during Notre Dame’s undefeated 1922 season. Halfback Jim Crowley signed a blank 3 x 5 “To Percy Good luck Jim Crowly”. Halfback Don C Miller signed a bio card and signed “Don C Miller” and supplied other information in his own hand. Fullback Elmer Layden signed a blank 3 x 5 “Good luck Elmer Layden”. Quarterback Harry Stuhldreher signed his name and filled in his school, position and tenure at Notre Dame in green ink.

Lot 310.  Extensive group of 123 3 x 5’s of former Notre Dame football players. Among them are 50 All-Americans (1st or 2nd team) including Heisman winners Angelo Bertelli, Johnny Lujack, Leon Hart, Johnny Lattner, Paul Hornung and John Huarte. Other significant names include Frank Leahy, Bernie Crimmins, Hugh Devore, Ralph Guglielmi, George Izo, Moose Krause, Wayne Millner, Nick Pietrosante, George Trafton, Neil Worden, and Adam Walsh, captain of the 1924 ND team. Generally in excellent condition.

Lot 311.  Three N302 Mayo Football cards in nice condition. Group includes Trenchard, Princeton with minimal corner wear and a clean back. Grey of Harvard with minimal edge wear and a nearly perfect back and finally Armstrong, Yale nearly identical to the Trenchard except for a tiny corner crease in the upper right. Excellent.

Lot 312.  Run of 55 Street and Smith Yearbooks from 1940 through 2002. From the first issue in 1940, missing only 1992. A total of 62 issues. From 1968 to 1996, the issues have Far West Regional covers, as the original owner (our consignor) was the Street and Smith Regional writer for those years. Covers included many Hall of Famers as well as many obscure players. The issues from the 40’s are gd-vg or vg-ex with light spine damage. The 1941 has some tape on spine. 1954 and 1955 have small tears on the cover and the 1956 back cover is detached. There’s a few pencil makes on interior pages of the late 1950’s issues. From the mid sixties on, almost all are ex-mt. Shipping will be from the owner in California.

Lot 320.  1962 Topps set of 176. As nice a set as you’re likely to see of this extremely condition conscious black bordered set. Highlights: 1-Unitas (ex-mt), 17-Ditka (nr mt), 28-Brown (nr mt-mt), 36-Davis (nr mt-mt), 90-Tarkenton (nr mt), 176-Checklist (ex+-mt except for slight dirt spot in middle of card, may be washed away). Balance: virtually all near mint and better.

Gorgeous set with virtually all cards near mint and better. 1962 Card Highlights: 1-Unitas (ex+-mt), 17-Ditka (nr mt), 28-Brown (nr mt, o/c), 36-Davis (nr mt), 39-Meredith (nr mt), 76-Checklist (nr mt), 90-Tarkenton (nr mt), 176-Checklist (ex+-mt). Balance: Almost all near mint except for an occasional centering problem. Lot 322.  Group of 185 1962 and 1963 Topps Football cards including 9 PSA graded 1962’s. The great majority of these are in near mint condition. There are 145 1962 cards with quantities from 1 to 5 copies of a card and 40 1963 cards. We felt the 1962’s that were graded were done very harshly. 1962 Highlights: 4 1-Unitas (all PSA - 1 Six, 2 Fives and a 4), 1 38-E.
