  7 Lots

Lot 345.  Only known 1933 Ryder Cup Menu. From the 4th Ryder Cup at the Southport & Ainsdale Golf Club, when the British team narrowly defeated the Americans 6 1/2-5 1/2. The American team was led by Walter Hagan, Gene Sarazen and Craig Wood while the British team was led by Abe Mitchell, Percy Allis and their coach J.H. Taylor. I have been told the menu of the 4th Ryder Cup is so rare that the host Club at Southport has never even seen one. The 4 1/2” x 7”menu shows a page of toasts on the inside cover and has an ad for the caterers on the back cover and a 4 page insert showing a Wine List, Menu and the Tariff. Condition is excellent to mint.
