Lot 58. 1940 U.S. Open Ticket at Canterbury Golf Club in Cleveland. A large (5 3/4" x 2 3/4") souvenir of a very memorable U.S. open. The ticket, with original string, has a couple of light creases and has an advertising companies message on the rear. Lawson Little, Gene Sarazen and Porky Oliver finished with 287, but Oliver was disqualified. Little topped Sarazen in the playoff.
