Lot 61. Incredible run of 32 British Open badges from 1969 to 2001 missing only 1994. A wide variety of badges (and some tickets) are in the collection including Guest, Royal and Ancient Members, Press and Staff. 26 of the badges are in ex-mt condition. All but four of the badges still have the original string. Badges represent both of Nicklaus’ British Open victories, both Trevino’s wins, all 5 Tom Watson’s (in a span of nine years), 3 from Seve Ballesterous, 2 from Nick Faldo and of course Tiger Woods in 2001. Considering the difficulty of vintage British Open Badges, especially in this country, a collection like this would take years to put together. Our web page shows the entire group.
