Lot 67. Very rare Fred Goldsmith signed photo. The approximate 5" x 7" photo shows an elderly Goldsmith looking at a picture of his former Chicago team with Cap Anson on top. He was a 20 game winner for Chicago from 1880 through 1883, winning a total of 98 games. He is considered by many as the inventor of the curveball. He died in 1839 and signatures are very rare.
