Lot 87.  D322 Tip Top Pittsburgh Pirates set of 25. All cards have brown glue stains, some resulting in paper loss in the corners on the back. Most of the cards have a nice clean appearance on the front. The cards are graded regardless of these stains. 14 cards very good including Wagner, Adams, Phillippe, Miller, Gibson, etc., 3 cards gd-vg, 1 card good, 6 cards fair, 1 card poor.

Lot 88.  T201 Mecca Set of 50. Extremely nice set. Highlights: Cobb/Crawford (ex+-mt), Evers/Chance (ex-mt), Mathewson/Bridwell (ex+), Collins/Baker (ex-mt), Johnson/Street (ex+), Speaker/Gardner (vg-ex), Lajoie/Falkenberg (ex+), Dougherty/Lord (vg), Huggins/Bresnahan (ex). Balance: Almost all are excellent or ex-mt.

Lot 89.  R333 Delong Set of 24. One of the most prestigious sets of the 1930’s consisting of 24 cards with striking designs. An average set averaging good-very good. Lot 90.  W-unc. Detroit Tiger Team near set of 22 missing Luke Hamlin. Postcard sized and blank backed, this is an unheralded and difficult set. Its features the A.L. Champs Tigers from 1934. The set features Hank Greenberg (vg-ex), Charlie Gehringer (vg, pinhole), Mickey Cochrane (vg), Goose Goslin (ex), etc. Balance: 12 cards excellent, 6 cards very good.

Lot 91.  V300 O-Pee-Chee near set of 37 missing Dimaggio, Feller and Goslin. Extremely difficult Canadian set styled after the R318 batter Up set, though far more attractively. Lot 95.  1952 Star Cal Decals, small size complete set of 32. Virtually all ex-mt including 85A (Williams), 90A (Mays/Irvin), 91B (Campanella, Robinson), 93A (Musial, Musial). Lone exception is 87D Busby, Zarilla which has punch holes along the top. Also included is a corresponding "set" of 37 Star Cal Movie Stars (Lucille Ball (2 diff), Martin & Lewis (3), Cisco Kid, John Wayne, etc). Virtually all ex-mt.

Lot 96.  1952 Star Cal Decals, large size, 68 different missing 70-G Mantle and 71-C Williams. 73-G Fox and 76-B Fain are missing the envelope. An extraordinary offering including almost all the "G" and "H’ decals which are very difficult and whose rarity is not reflected by price in an guide. The decals are almost all excellent and better and many are ex-mt and near mint. Highlights: 70C-Berra (ex), 71B-Williams (ex+), 78E-Mays (ex+-mt), 79G-Robinson (ex+-mt), 81E-Musial (nr mt), 81F-Musial (ex+).

Lot 101.  Hires Root Beer Set of 66 plus 7 additional cards with Tabs. The extra cards are 29-Lopata, 36-Mazeroski, 42-Podres, 57-Kaat and 61-Snider. Average condition is vg-ex. The main set has cards of varying widths and lengths as is common with Hires and the following grades do not take into account the size of the card.
