Lot 256.  Beautiful Chicago Cub 1908 World Series Ticket stub. On Wednesday October 7th, the N.L. season ended with the Cubs and Giants tied for 1st place. The game of September 23rd between those teams had to replayed in which Merkle’s famous blunder took place. The Cubs won and opened the series against the Tigers on October 10th. The offered stub as nice as you’re likely to find was for Game 2 (the 11th of October), which the Cubs won on route to an easy series victory. The stub has some minor back damage and a very clean looking front.
Minimum Bid $800.

Lot 258.  Rare 1957 Brooklyn Dodger stub at Roosevelt Stadium. No creases, facsimile signed by O’Malley for the August 7, 1957 game. Excellent.
Minimum Bid $100.
