Lot 161.  B18 Joe Jackson. Green paths and purple bases. Slight running of colors by paths, picture very sharp. Very good.

Lot 162.  3 E121 American Caramel Ty Cobbs. Three different poses from the E121 set. The sidewise throwing pose from the Series of 80 is excellent +; the front throwing pose from the 120 Series has rounded corners but is excellent and the batting pose from the 120 series has a corner crease in the upper right and is very good.

Lot 163.  E126 American Caramel #17-Ty Cobb, Philadelphia Am. Rare Cobb card from very difficult numbered American Carmel set of 60. Card shows Cobb in the same bunting pose as in M101-4. Of greater significance, his team affiliation is Philadelphia, for whom he played only in 1927 when he was allegedly involved in a betting scandal with Tris Speaker. Card is near excellent with wear at the corners and the edges.

Lot 164.  T201 Mecca Cobb/Crawford, P2 Sweet Caporal Pin Ty Cobb, B18 Felt Ty Cobb. The B18 appears excellent but has two little bites in the border, the P2 is PSA graded EX 5 and the T201 is vg-ex.

Lot 165.  M101-2 Sporting News Supplement from March 17, 1910 of Ty Cobb and Honus Wagner. Historic pose of Wagner and Cobb shaking hands before the 1909 World Series. As nice condition as you could ever hope to see in an issue marred by creases, tears, etc. Near Mint.

Lot 166.  R309-1 Goudey Premium of Babe Ruth with original stand. From four card standup set. Beautiful card with standup never used. Minor paper adhering to back. Tiny printing spot in right border. Excellent +.

Lot 167.  R319 Goudey #92 Lou Gehrig. Nice excellent copy with slight rounding of the corners.

Lot 168.  R335 1940 Playball #225 Joe Jackson. Gorgeous card. Solid near mint. Card measures slightly larger than graded Jackson in lot 6.

Lot 169.  R338 Goudey Sport King #2 Babe Ruth. Centered slightly to left, no creases, clean back.

Lot 170.  T3 Turkey Red Ty Cobb. Beautiful example of one of the hobbies most sought after and prestigious cards. An Excellent + front and a nearly clean back which has some paper loss at the bottom of card. Very good but appears much nicer. In a heavy Lucite mount.

Lot 171.  T205 Gold Border Ty Cobb with American Beauty back. Nice clean card with usual edge wear, Well centered and very good-ex.

Lot 172.  T216 Kotton Ty Cobb. Very rare thin paper variety with Ty Cobb. Not in the best condition but chances of finding another are slim. There are multiple creases and some spots of paper loss. The back is miraculously clean and carries the slogan “Never Go Out”. Fair.

Lot 173.  Three Ty Cobb cards. Set 81 Anonymous Exhibit (vg-ex), 1921 Exhibit Co. (vg, with some paper remains on rear) and W571 Strip (excellent).

Lot 174.  1948 Leaf #3 Babe Ruth. Front of card has light carryover of the description of the card from the of the corresponding card from the sheet lying on top. Unusual. Otherwise, excellent.

Lot 175.  1964, 1965 and 1966 Bazooka Panels with Mickey Mantle. The 1964 #1-3 Mantle, Groat and Barber is near mint with “1964” noted lightly on the rear; The 1965 #1-3 Mantle, Jackson and Hinton appears near mint but has a light wrinkle on the Hinton card and has “65 Bazooka” noted on the rear; The #1966 7-9 Mantle, Wagner and Kranepool would be near mint but for “65 Bazooka” on the rear.
