Lot 276. Near Set of 10 Red Belt postcards missing “Opening of the Season, 1907”. Includes 6 cards taken in Cincinnati’s Palace of the Fans and one (“Safe”) taken in Boston’s Huntington Avenue Grounds. The 6 cards taken in the Palace of the Fans is highlighted by the card of Miller Huggins, very good, postally used in 1907 with good baseball content in the message. The other five cards average excellent, 3 are postally used, the card “Practice Makes Perfect” features pitcher Sam Leever of Pittsburgh which is noted on the message portion. “Safe” is used and good. The remaining three cards are all postally used and are vg-ex.
