Lot 92. Near set of 96 M101-2 Supplements and near set 11 M101-7 Sporting News. The historic M101-2 issue of 1909 to 1913 is missing only 4 (Cobb, Wagner, the 1909 Detroit team and the 1910 Chicago team). Highlights: Joe Jackson (vg-ex, appears nr mt with a very light horizontal crease), Cobb and Wagner shaking hands (vg-ex), Mathewson (ex-mt), Young (ex), Speaker (ex), Alexander (ex-mt), Johnson & Street (vg-ex), Plank (ex), Mack (ex), etc. Balance: Overall very nice. Most are vg-ex and better. A couple are lesser with missing pieces. The M101-7 set is missing the two team pictures, the condition averages vg-ex except for the Ruth which is missing a small piece in the top border.
