Lot 137. 1950 Bowman Baseball near set of 252. A very nice appearing set which is hindered by many cards having small spots of paper loss on the back. The damage is taken into account in the following grades. Low Number highlights- 1-Parnell (vg), 6-Feller (gd), 11-Rizzuto (gd), 19-Spahn (ex), 21-Reese (ex-mt), 22-Robinson (gd-vg), 32-Roberts (ex), 35-Slaughter (vg), 37-Appling (vg), 46-Berra (vg). Balance of low #’s - 25 cards excellent, 16 cards very good, 21 cards good. Highlights from Balance of set: 75-Campanella (vg), 77-Snider (ex+), 84-Ashburn (ex-mt), 98-Williams (ex), 112-Hodges (vg-ex) and 217-Stengel (gd-vg); Balance of set: 61 cards ex, 94 cards very good, 19 cards good.
