Lot 328.  N43 Allen & Ginter group of 28 remaining athletes. High condition lot with 25 cards excellent or better, 2 are very good (corner creasing) and one is good. Backs are clean. List of subjects available on request.

Lot 329.  Complete set of 5 Spalding Die Cuts. Issued about 1890 the set features die cuts about 5” high showing a baseball player, a football player, a golfer, a female tennis player and a female cyclist. All five have excellent+ appearances on the front except the tennis players which has a small piece of tape on the rear holding her head and some light creasing. The backs have some album remnants on the back covering the written material (or advertising) relating to the sport. All are still readable. Overall condition is very good.

Lot 330.  T218 Athletes set of 153. Virtually all excellent or better including all 6 golfers, Attell, both Jefferies and both Johnsons. 136 cards are excellent or better, 12 cards are very good, 5 cards have some album remnants on the rear.

Lot 331.  T221 Pan Handle Scrap Worlds Champion Athletes set of 50. Set of predominantly track and Field stars. Highlights: Avery Brundage (ex) and Duke Kahanamoku (ex). The cards were all hinged in an album and as a result have a remnant of the hinge or a stain from it on the back of the card. The grading is without regard to the above. Balance: 17 cards are excellent, 28 cards are gd-vg, 3 cards are fair-good.

Lot 332.  Large group of 64 1926 Sports Co. of America including Jack Dempsey. The baseball subjects in this set are seldom seen and the balance of this 200 card all sports set are seen even less frequently. The Dempsey is very good, and the balance including Jockeys, Track and Field stars, Billiard Players, Cyclists, etc. are mostly ex-mt or better.

Lot 333.  1948 Sports Champions set of 31 missing Bump Elliott. Nice near set with virtually all cards excellent and better. Highlights: Mikan (good, ph), Baugh (ex), Cook (ex), Dempsey (ex-mt), Graham (ex), Harder (ex+), Jacobs (ex), Louis (ex), Luckman (ex-mt), Lujack (ex), McDermott (ex-mt), Van Buren (vg-ex), Young (vg). The balance are excellent or better.

Lot 334.  1948-9 Champion Exhibits near set of 43 cards. Includes a complete set of the 32 subjects and 11 of the 14 new subjects introduced in 1949. Missing are Hogan, Motley and Waterfield. The 1948 set has three of the more difficult blue tinted, otherwise identical, cards issued in 1949. 1948 Highlights: Baugh (ex), Bentleys (ex), Cook (green tint, ex), Dempsey (blue tint, ex+), Durnan (vg), Graham (green tint, vg-ex), Hoppe (ex+-mt), Jacobs (ex-mt), Louis (blue tint, ex-mt), Luckman and Lujack (ex-mt), McDermott (green tint, ex), Mikan (vg-ex), Turner & Van Buren (ex-mt) and Young (ex). 1948 Balance: All are excellent except one is very good and two are good. The tough and unique 1949 cards are as follows: Button (vg-ex), Citation (vg-ex), Conacher (ex), Day (vg), Dillard (ex), Dobbs (ex), Fulks (ex-mt), Lombardo (ex-mt). Mathias (ex-mt), Phillip (vg) and Scott (ex-mt).

Lot 335.  Interesting multi sport group. 2 Football Time Magazines, 3 Boxing Times and 2 Hockey Times plus some Hockey artwork. Football: Nov. 6, 1939 Full magazine with Tom Harmon on cover (ex) and Nov 27, 1927 unbound (rimmed to loose pages) Knute Rockne (nr nt w/o regard to trimming); Boxing: Sept. 29, 1941 Full Magazine With Joe Louis (stain, vg), August 30, 1926 unbound (rimmed to loose pages) Gene Tunney (nr nt w/o regard to trimming) with autographed 3” X 5” from John Smith Collection and Sept. 10, 1923 Matted cover of Jack Dempsey; Hockey: Mar 14, 1938 2 Full issue with Dave Kerr on cover (ex and vg). Also Two pieces of 11” x 15” Thornton Fisher original art featuring the three hockey playing Patrick brothers. First piece features Lester Patrick while the other feature Lynn and Murray Patrick. All three were autographed in 1935. In addition a Time Magazine (Mar. 14, 1938) of N.Y. Ranger Goalie Dave Kerr on the cover. The artwork and autographs are ex+-mt, the cover of Time is good.
