Autographs

  4 Lots

Lot 20.  Mel Ott Single Signed Ball. Black fountain pen signature on side panel. Ball is consistently medium tanned throughout with few scrapes and scratches. Signature overall rates 5-7, with the last “t” quite light. Opposite panel has the following notation “Bobby Martin and from Bob to Tom.” The Spalding trademark is visible but worn. On the opposite sweet spot, the last part of ‘league’ is barely visible. That with the Spalding trademark lends us to believe that it is an Official NL ball. This ball was obviously a childhood possession that was used. Comes with a Mike Guiterrez COA.
Minimum Bid $1,000.

Lot 21.  Huge collection of 624 Chicago Cub autographs mostly on 3 x 5 cards. Collection includes Banks, Boudreau, Dawson, Durocher, Gossage, Grimes, Hartnett, Herman, Irvin, Kiner, Sandberg and Williams. The Sandberg is noteworthy as it was dated and signed in 1982, his rookie year, and represented a rare “readable” signature before it became a scrawl. Some of the 3 x 5’s are cuts. An excellent collection. Comes with a Mike Guiterrez COA.
Minimum Bid $250.

Lot 22.  Framed Honus Wagner photo, autograph and 2 Wagner cards, all relating to the late ‘30’s when Wagner was a coach on the Pirates.. A framed and matted 7 1/2” x 5 1/4” photo with a large (4 1/2” x 2”) 1937 dated cut in an 11” x 14” frame. Also included is an excellent R312 showing Wagner and Arky Vaughan and a vg-ex R313 Fine Pen of coach Wagner. Comes with a Mike Guiterrez COA.
Minimum Bid $500.

Lot 23.  Full Jackie Robinson Check. Dated May 128, 1959 and signed “Jack R Robinson”. Excellent. Mike Guiterrez COA.
Minimum Bid $200.
