Lot 111. Nice group of E102 Mathewson, P2 Cobb and W560 Gehrig. The Mathewson has a couple of very light wrinkles, visible only on very close inspection, the Sweet Caporal pin of Cobb is nr mt, with original paper backing and well centered and the W560 Gehrig is neatly cut and near mint.

Lot 113. M127 Police Gazette Joe Jackson. Numbered 1883 and issued September 13, 1913 towards the end of the Police Gazette Supplement run. Minor problems along the border but full size and in remarkable condition for a paper item this size. Very good-excellent.

Lot 114. M127 Police Gazette Jim Thorpe. Numbered 1867 and issued May 24, 1913 toward the end of the Police Gazette Supplement run. One of the few Thorpe items in sets. There are 3 horizontal creases and a 1” tear on one of the creases which has been treated with archival tape. There are minimal problems in the borders and the piece is full size.

Lot 115. S74 White Silk of Ty Cobb. As issued with the Old Mill paper backing. A light horizontal crease, otherwise excellent.

Lot 117. T213 Coupon Type 3 Ty Cobb. Nice centered card, unusual for the Type 3 Coupons. There is a spot of paper loss in the border on the upper left and a light stain in that area. Good-very good. Tough card.

Lot 118. All 4 T206 Ty Cobbs, 3 PSA graded, and one ungraded. The Green background is a VG 3 with Sweet Cap back, the bat on shoulder is also a VG3 with a Piedmont back, the bat off shoulder is a VG-EX 4 with a Sweet Cap back. The ungraded red background is very good, has two tiny wrinkles, and has a EPDG back and measures larger than the 3 graded cards. A nice group.

Lot 120. M101-6 Sporting News Babe Ruth. Like the similar pose issued in the Sporting News M101-5 rookie card, this much more difficult Sporting News card also shows Ruth in a pitching pose in a Boston uniform. The card has a light 1 1/2” thumbnail crease along the right edge towards the bottom and a barely noticeable 1/2” wrinkle in the lower left through the “C” of C.F. Very good-excellent.

Lot 124. F-unc. Donut Company of America Babe Ruth Card. One of rarest Ruth Cards known. From 1937 Box design card featuring 72 Famous Americans. Ruth is the only baseball player in the set. The card has a closed tear visible only on the rear of the card. Otherwise the card is excellent..
