Lot 199. PC757-1 A.C. Dietche Detroit Tiger set of 15 with difficult Cobb. There were two different A.C. Dietche sets issued in 1907. The only differences are the color and the Cobb card. One set is in black and white and one has a distinct purple tint to it and the Ty Cobb cards are different, one is a batting pose (b & w set) and one is fielding (purple) , The fielding Cobb is much more difficult (despite the opinion of the Standard Catalog) as is the entire purple set, which I believe was issued in Canada. The set here is that tougher version. The Cobb card is (ex+), Jennings is vg+ with a corner crease and the balance of the set is ex-mt.
