Lot 61. M-Uncatalogued Sporting News card of Ray Schalk, circa 1917. Extremely rare type card virtually unknown in the hobby. The offered card, which measures 4” x 2 1/4”, was discovered and written about in an old (pre-Krause) issue of SCD by collector Dick Reuss. One collector indicated he had some of the cards but wasn’t willing to make them known. The card is well centered and in excellent condition with a clean blank back.
