Lot 230. 1953 Topps Original art of Pirate pitcher Don Carlson (never issued). Carlson had a very brief career consisting of 7 appearances in 1951 and 5 in 1952 for the Pirates. The artwork measures 6" x 4", has a small indentation at the top left and is otherwise excellent. Complete sale price including the commission will be donated to the St. Peter Indian Mission School to build a library.
