A set substantially inferior to this brought $11,600 this past summer. We calculate the corresponding SMR value of this set to be over $29,000. It may very well be the best set known. Highlights: 25-6 Robinson/Hack (NM 7), 31-2 Banks/Pollet (EX-MT 6), 45-6 Kaline/Valentine (MINT 9), 69-70 Williams/Smith (NM-MT+ 8.5), 105-6 Aaron (MINT 9), 111-2 Killebrew/Podres (NM+ 7.5), 127-8 Spahn/Brewer (NM+ 7.5).
