Lot 197.  1949 Bowman uncut sheet of 24 cards. One of those sheet with double printed backs, showing the correct back as well as one from a later series. Folklore has it, these were rescued from the garbage cans behind the Bowman plant. The sheet includes all the first series Hall of Famers including Musial, Spahn, Reese, Feller, Kiner, Doerr, Kell and Boudreau. There are many creases and the sheet has been folded down the middle. There is a 1 1/2" separation at the bottom which has been reinforced. Still, a nice display item.

Lot 199.  1951 Bowman group of 209 cards including 17 high numbers. Mostly commons, the only HOF'ers are Ford (vg), Lemon (vg) and Dickey (vg, o/c). Balance includes 82 low numbers and 3 high numbers which are excellent. The great majority of the balance is very good.

Includes 2-20, 22-3, 25-6, 28-32, 34-41, 44-60, 62-69, 71-2, 75-79, 81-88, 90-1, 93-4, 96-100, 102-4, 106-115, 118-155, 157-187, 190-5, 197-208, 210-6, 219-222. 224-6, 229-231, 235-240, 243, 245-52. Lot 201.  1952 Topps Partial sheet of 15 cards from 251-310 series. Includes cards 286-310. Three minor flaws are noted. The lower left corner of the Sleater card (#306) has fallen off and been reattached. There is a 1" wrinkle in the Bilko card (#287) and there is a corner crease in the Metkovich (#310). The balance of the cards are ex-mt with very ample borders.

Lot 206.  1952 Bowman Proof Card of Bobby Thomson. From the files of Bowman artist George Moll. A 2 1/2 x 3 3/4 black and white showing an exact rendition of the smaller issued color card. Excellent condition with Bob Thompson NY Giants 1952 (probably in Moll's handwriting) on the otherwise blank back.
