W-unc Extremely rare uncataloged Package design card of Oscar Stanage.
Lot 89. W-unc Extremely rare uncataloged Package design card of Oscar Stanage. The card, which is about 1 1/2" square is very similar in design to the well known W555 package design cards. Stanage was Detroit's catcher for the 12 year period of 1909 to 1920 and the card could be from any year in that period. There was one other card discovered with the Stanage, the identify for which is no longer available. The fair condition card has gray borders, a blank back and "Stanage" is written in white capital letters at the bottom.
