Lot 257. F386 San Giorgio Macaroni partial set of 14 including several unlisted. This 1959 set, apparently with all Philadelphia Eagles, is one of the more obscure and interesting football sets known. Each paper card is a flip movie with 14 numbered photos meant to be cut out and assembled. The backs are blank. The Beckett Almanac lists 17 different and the offered group here lists several not listed in Beckett including some second poses of a player. In this group are Billy Barnes (2 poses), Chuck Bednarik, Proverb Jacobs, Tommy McDonald, Ed Meadows (2 poses), Clarence Peaks (2 poses), Pete Retzlaff (2 poses), Bobby Walston, Chuck Weber and Bob Pellegrini.
