Lot 98. 1949 Brooklyn Dodger Photo pack of 25. The Dodgers started issued photo packs in 1941 and continued them every year into the 1950's. For unknown reasons the 1949 team issue in extremely rare and very few are known. In many cases the photos used correlate to the Dodger photos in the 1949 Bowman set. The photo pack includes Jack Banta, Rex Barney, Ralph Branca, Tommy Brown, Roy Campanella, Billy Cox, Bruce Edwards, Carl Furillo, Joe Hatten, Gene Hermanski, Gil Hodges, Johnny Hopp, John Jurgensen, Mike McCormick, Ed Miksis, Don Newcombe, Erv Palica, Jake Pitler, Peewee Reese, Jackie Robinson, Preacher Roe, Burt Shotten, Duke Snider, Milt Stock and Clyde Sukeforth. The original mailing enveloped, stamped "1949" is included. Ex-mt.
