Lot 113. 1950 Bowman Baseball set of 252. This is not the best set I have ever seen, nor is it the worst, but it is a lot closer to the latter. 112 cards (45%) are very good or excellent. Low Number highlights- 1-Parnell (fair), 6-Feller (vg, autographed), 11-Rizzuto (gd-vg), 19-Spahn (vg), 21-Reese (gd), 22-Robinson (fr), 32-Roberts (gd), 35-Slaughter (vg), 37-Appling (fr), 46-Berra (poor). Balance of low #'s: 9 excellent, 16 cards very good, balance fair-good. A few poor. Highlights from Balance of set: 75-Campanella (vg), 77-Snider (vg), 84-Ashburn (vg), 98-Williams (fr), 112-Hodges (fr) and 217-Stengel (gd); Balance of set- 29 cards excellent, 59 cards very good, balance fair-good.
