Lot 273. D57 1953 Mothers Cookies near set of 59 (of 63), missing #42, #46, #59 and #62. Movie Stars and 1953 Mothers Cookies TV and Radio Stars near set of 62 (of 63) missing #47. Our consignor tried to complete these sets for nearly 50 years and couldn't do it. Their difficulty easily surpasses the 1952 Mothers Cookie baseball issue. The Movie star set contains 33 excellent cards. The balance are very good with a few lesser. The TV and Radio near set is almost all excellent and better except for a half dozen cards. Football player Tom Harmon is ex-mt.
