Lot 80. Three extremely rare off size 1938 Dixie Lid variations. Bob Feller, Jimmie Foxx and Wally Moses all in mint condition with their original tissue paper on the lids. The 1938 Dixie Lids came in the 2 1/4" and 2 3/4" sizes. These three lids are distinctly in between at 2 7/16". To the best of my knowledge and that of my consignor, who is a very knowledgeable Dixie Lid, no others are known. All three have Dixie Lid ads on the top with green printing from Hendries Ice Cream Milton, Mass.
