Fair, but damage could be easily removed without hurting image by cropping to 7 x 9, as John Spalding did, when he used this photo in his book, "PCL Stars, Vol. 2". A 1913 photo, predating Gandil's "Black Sox" days. Oval Van Oeyen rubber stamp on rear.
