Lot 113. New York Giants Pre-1930 Collection. A truly spectacular group of 65 photos all issued before 1930. Highlights are a 1912 team photo (players unidentified, but McGraw, Mathewson, Marquard easy to pick out); a 1912 McGraw picture with Chief Meyers, a 1929 McGraw with Honus Wagner, a 1919 shot of Chase, Doyle, Fletcher and Zimmerman; Heinie Groh with his famous bottle bat, three shots of Jimmy O'Connell, banned for offering an opponent a bribe in 1923, a 1908 UPI File photo of Willie Keeler, Hack Wilson in his rookie season with the Giants and Jess Barnes after his no-hitter in 1922; Other include Bancroft (4, one with Mathewson in 1924, and another that's a Bain photo), Chance, Frisch (2), T.
